Accossato's spongy crossbar buffer comes in four shades, and orange is the one furthest from the black or blue most riders expect by default; the SH5A fits the same 22 mm constant-diameter crossbars as the rest of the line.

Construction and Material Quality
Underneath its bright colour, the SH5A is built like every other buffer in the range: a stretchy, cushioned sleeve pulled over a crossbar that is already clamped onto a 22 mm handlebar. It carries no clamps or screws of its own, so putting it on or taking it off never touches the crossbar's own fitting.
Visibility and Finish
An orange cover reads differently to the eye than the black or blue options in the same range, standing out against most tank and bodywork colours rather than blending in with them. Some riders pick it for that reason alone, others because a bright panel is quicker to spot after a tumble in the dirt. Either way, the colour changes nothing about how the crossbar underneath performs.
Fitment and Compatibility
Buyers fit the SH5A to any Accossato crossbar on the 22 mm constant-diameter standard; no particular motorcycle model governs the choice. Checking that the crossbar itself is the 22 mm version matters before ordering, as a tapered handlebar takes the separate SK1N cover rather than this one.
Road Approval
Accossato documents no ABE or parts certificate for the SH5A; registration rules depend on the country, so check local requirements before road use.
