DescriptionThe whole story▼

The Triumph Street Triple 675 R added higher-spec suspension and brakes to the standard triple, and it uses a different front pad shape: Accossato lists the AGPA38 for the 675 R from 2009 to 2017. In Sintered (ST) compound, this pad suits riders who use their 675 R on the road in all conditions, from wet mountain passes to long summer tours, and want a consistent front brake throughout.

Key Features

  • Front brake pads for the Triumph Street Triple 675 R, 2009 to 2017
  • AGPA38 shape in Sintered (ST) compound, article AGPA38ST
  • For all-weather road riding and touring
  • Accossato cites steady grip hot and cold, plus good wet bite
  • Two pads per box; the twin front calipers need two boxes
  • Also on this shape: EV1, EV2 and ZXC
  • No German ABE; supplied for competition use

Construction and Material Quality

Accossato's description of ST is a compound that keeps a high, steady grip across high and low temperatures and performs well in the wet. On the AGPA38 plate for the 675 R, it is the road-oriented option in a family otherwise focused on sportier use. Among the general qualities it aims for, Accossato names long life and limited heating.

Mountain Passes in Changing Weather

A day in the mountains can bring sunshine at the bottom, rain at the top and cold air on the descent. A sintered front pad that keeps its feel through those changes is the natural choice for a 675 R used for such trips. Check pad thickness and fluid before setting off, and bring the bike home with enough material left for the next ride.

Fitting Both Sides

The 675 R has two front calipers, so replace all four pads together. Clean the pistons before pushing them back, pump the lever until firm, and bed the new pads in with a series of steady stops.

Fitment and Compatibility

Accossato lists the AGPA38 for the front of the Triumph Street Triple 675 R from 2009 to 2017. Two front calipers mean two boxes. At the rear the AGPP91 is listed from 2013 to 2018, and the DK203 disc is also listed for this model. The AGPA38 shape comes as EV1, EV2 and ZXC as well.

Road Approval

We have no test reports or German ABE for these pads, and we offer them for competition and track use.

Scope of Delivery
