DescriptionThe whole story▼
The ZX-10RR's rear reservoir shares the common design used across the wider ZX-10R family, applying to this version for its full 2017 and 2018 production. Accossato's TS013 fits it, CNC-machined aluminium anodised across seven colours.
Key Features
- Rear brake fluid reservoir cap for the Kawasaki ZX-10RR, 2017 and 2018
- Same reservoir shared across the wider ZX-10R family
- Aluminium, CNC-machined and anodised
- Seven colours: blue, black, orange, red, silver, green, gold
- FP005 and TS003 also listed for this motorcycle
- Also listed for several Aprilia and Honda models
- No German ABE with us; catalogued for competition use
- A detail suited to this higher-specification version
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato takes a solid aluminium blank through CNC machining to form the TS013, colouring it only afterwards in the anodising bath. However few examples of a particular special version left the factory, the parts bolted to it rarely justify their own bespoke tooling, and the rear brake reservoir is a textbook case of that logic being applied in practice, rather than an exception made for this version.
A Rarer Bike, an Ordinary Reservoir
What sets a ZX-10RR apart from the standard bike lives in its engine specification, not in the rear brake reservoir, which does exactly what the same part does on any other ZX-10R built in the same era. Stand the bike level before opening it, keep the fluid level between the markings once the TS013 is fitted, and follow the change interval the handbook sets for a bike sold in smaller numbers just as strictly as for any other, scarcity being no reason to skip basic care.
Fitment and Compatibility
Both years this special edition was built, 2017 and 2018, fall under one TS013 application covering its entire production. The FP005 oil filler and the TS003 front reservoir cap both suit the same bike, completing a three-part set for anyone who wants the full matching look. Honda's CBR 1000 RR shares an identical rear reservoir shape despite coming from an entirely different corner of the sportsbike market and era of development, built for an entirely different kind of rider pursuing an entirely different goal out on the open road every single day of the riding week, rain or shine.
Road Approval
No ABE or test certificate for the TS013 exists in our files, which is why the cap is listed for racing and competition purposes only.
Scope of Delivery
One TS013 rear reservoir cap is supplied, anodised in the colour you select, ready to match the rest of the bike.
