DescriptionThe whole story▼
In endurance racing, one RSV4 may be ridden by two or three riders in the same race, each with a personal idea of where a brake lever belongs, and a rider change leaves no time for adjustments. The Accossato RA001 deals with that through what Accossato calls a 90-degree remote adjuster: the rider alters the lever setting on the move with the left hand, the right hand keeps the throttle, and nobody has to touch the lever in the pit lane. This folding brake lever fits the original master cylinder of the RSV4 from 2011 to 2018.

Construction and Material Quality
The RA001 combines a folding lever with an adjuster that is placed away from the lever itself. The lever is CNC-machined from aluminium and anodised. At the lever, a black base carries the pivot and joins the coloured blade through a hinge; the adjuster is placed where the left hand can reach it. Accossato offers the holder for the adjuster in 35 mm or 60 mm. The blade is made in seven anodised colours, either with the lightening cut-out of the RST version or without it.
Rider Changes Without Compromise
Endurance teams running an RSV4 usually agree on a common setup, but some things stay personal, and the brake lever is one of them. One rider brakes with two fingers and wants the blade close; another uses three and prefers it further out. With a conventional lever, the team either settles on a compromise or has someone adjust it during the stop, which costs time. With the RA001, the incoming rider can leave the pit lane on the previous setting and change it on the first straight, left hand on the adjuster, right hand on the throttle. The same applies later in a stint, when the brakes have worked hard for an hour and the lever may no longer feel as it did at the start. The remote adjuster turns such changes into something done on track rather than something that waits for the pit wall.
Fitment and Compatibility
The RA001 appears in Accossato's list for the RSV4 in every year from 2011 to 2018: the RSV4 R APRC of 2011 to 2014, the Factory APRC of 2011 and 2012, the Racing Factory LE of 2015 to 2017 and the Racing Factory of 2018. Unlike the LV012 folding lever, whose listing skips 2013 and 2014, the remote version covers every year of that span. Because it replaces the brake lever, it is an alternative to the LV012, not an addition.
Road Approval
The RA001 is a racing part without a documented German ABE, and we sell it for track use.
