DescriptionThe whole story▼
Honda's CRF250RX, built in 2017 and 2018 as the cross-country-oriented version of the CRF250R with a larger fuel tank and softer suspension settings, takes this two-hose Accossato kit covering the front and rear brake circuit on the Standard layout. The hose count and routing match what the motocross-focused CRF250R from the same two years uses, even though the two are sold as distinct models with their own separate model names, specifications, intended riding disciplines and target riders.
Key Features
- Two-hose set covering front and rear on the CRF250RX
- Standard (S) layout, matching the original hose routing
- Aeronautical braid sheath in 20 colours
- Stainless steel fittings as standard, or painted stainless in red, green, blue, black or gold
- Built for the 2017-2018 cross-country version of the CRF250
- Finished ready to fit in place of the original rubber hoses
Construction and Material Quality
Underneath the finish, this comes down to a stainless mesh sleeve over the pressure line on each hose, with the terminal fitting left bare or chosen in red, green, blue, black or gold. The full twenty-colour sheath range applies just the same, so the cross-country RX loses nothing in finish compared with the motocross-focused R version it shares its chassis and brake hardware with.
Cross-Country Suspension, Same Brake Circuit
Where the CRF250RX differs from the standard CRF250R is mainly in its suspension tune and fuel capacity, aimed at longer cross-country races rather than closed motocross circuits, but the brake hardware itself was not changed between the two versions of this machine. That is why this kit uses the identical two-hose Standard layout rather than a bespoke part built specifically for the RX's longer-travel suspension and bigger fuel tank arrangement.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato's data covers the Honda CRF250RX for 2017 and 2018 only, with this two-hose kit as the sole part listed for this cross-country machine. Check the exact model year on the Fitment tab before ordering, since no alternative version of this kit exists for any other year of this specific cross-country model in Accossato's current range.
Road Approval
Accossato documents no ABE or parts certificate for this kit; it is intended for track and competition use.
Scope of Delivery
2 braided hoses for the Standard layout. Check hollow bolts and sealing washers against the motorcycle before fitting, since these connecting parts are not necessarily included.
