DescriptionThe whole story▼

The Accossato 13.5 mm axial clutch master cylinder brings the same self-contained, offroad-oriented design as its brake counterpart to the clutch side, offering a prompt, modulated release from a compact axial pump rather than a radial unit. Its reservoir is cast into the body instead of hanging off it on a separate bracket, the pump body is nickel-plated, and the reservoir cap and lever are finished in black for contrast.

Key Features

  • 13.5 mm piston diameter, axial design for offroad motorcycles, scooters and pitbikes
  • Integrated fluid reservoir built into the master cylinder body
  • Nickel-plated pump body with a black reservoir cap and lever
  • CNC machined from billet aluminium
  • Offset clamp in zinc-plated steel
  • M10x1 hose connection thread

Construction and Material Quality

This clutch master cylinder is machined from aluminium billet and nickel-plated on the pump body, with the reservoir cap and lever kept black to match the rest of the offroad-focused line. The mounting clamp is offset and made from zinc-plated steel rather than the galvanised steel used on the equivalent brake unit, and the hose connection takes the same M10x1 thread as the rest of the Accossato catalogue. Building the reservoir into the casting rather than mounting it separately removes a potential leak point and keeps the whole assembly narrow enough for a congested offroad handlebar, where every extra bracket competes for space with switchgear and guards.

An Axial Clutch Pump for Simpler Machines

Clutch hydraulics on offroad bikes, scooters and pitbikes rarely need the adjustable pivots or insert-tuned levers fitted to Accossato's sportbike clutch pumps, so this 13.5 mm unit keeps things simple with a fixed axial layout instead. That keeps the whole assembly light and short, two qualities that matter more on a dirt bike's handlebar than a finely graduated lever ratio, while the reservoir built into the casting still gives the fluid room to expand as the clutch heats up during a long ride or a day on rough ground.

Fitment and Compatibility

No specific motorcycles are listed against this clutch master cylinder by Accossato, and none are recorded in our own fitment data; it is supplied as a universal 13.5 mm axial clutch pump for a 22 mm handlebar clamp diameter. Before ordering, measure your own handlebar clamp and confirm that your clutch hydraulics are designed around a 13.5 mm axial piston with an integrated reservoir.

Road Approval

This clutch master cylinder is not supplied with German road-approval documentation; it is intended for track and competition use.

Scope of Delivery
