DescriptionThe whole story▼
The Most Expensive Screen The rainbow finish is the most expensive screen for the RS Jet in this line-up, pricier than the red, gold, blue and silver mirrors on the same part number. VZ36030PRNWTU is Shark's Iridium Rainbow, supplied as VISOR ANTISCRATCH IRIDIUM under VZ36030P.
Key Features
- Iridium Rainbow, colour code RNW
- Shark classification: racing use only (Range Book 2027)
- Long trip visor with side air inlets for the open-face RS Jet
- Max Vision Pinlock preparation, insert VZ36005P, tension adjustable
- Anti-scratch treatment and free visor positioning
About this tint
What the extra money gets you is the appearance: a mirror whose reflection runs through several hues instead of one. It is the loudest option on this visor and suits decors that already mix several colours. In use it behaves like the other iridium versions, sending part of the light back, cutting glare and hiding your eyes.
Shark gives no reason for the price difference and no indication that the rainbow layer darkens more or filters light differently. What visibly differs is the finish, and we would not claim anything beyond that.
Road or track
Shark lists Iridium Rainbow in the Range Book 2027, page 39, as racing use only. We sell it on that basis, as a circuit visor that Shark does not release for road use. RS Jet owners riding on public roads choose VZ36015P instead: clear for all users, or the light tinted TE50 for daytime.
Think of it as a screen for sunny sessions and keep a clear one ready for when the light goes.
Keeping it serviceable
A multi-colour coating shows every smear, so clean it more gently rather than more often. Wet the surface, let insect residue soften, and lift it off with a soft cloth and plain water or a little mild soap. Solvent-based products and ordinary glass cleaners can cloud or strip the layer. Carry the visor in a soft cover; the anti-scratch treatment protects the screen underneath, not the mirror.
How it goes on
Changing to the rainbow visor follows the same routine as any RS Jet screen. Free the old one via the side locks, place the new one on the four anchor points and press each side home until it locks. Check that it opens smoothly and stays put halfway. The Pinlock VZ36005P goes into the prepared visor, with tension you can adjust.
Ordering by part number
Check the suffix before ordering: VZ36030PRNWTU is rainbow, EAN 3664836766836, 186 g. If rainbow is more than you want to spend, the other four colours on VZ36030P are VZ36030PREDTU, VZ36030PGLDTU, VZ36030PBLUTU and VZ36030PSLVTU (Dark Chrome), each at the same lower price.
What this part fits
