Hose length is part of the installation and cannot be changed freely. Reservoir caps carry the gas valve and are torqued to a specification. A separating piston or bladder keeps nitrogen and oil apart.

Why the Original

An original part keeps the unit within its published specification; a near-equivalent quietly moves it. Öhlins publishes dimensions for its service parts so a workshop can verify before it fits. The exploded drawing for your unit names the number; if you do not have it, we do. Order by part number — descriptions repeat across sizes, numbers do not.

How to Be Sure It Fits

Part number 00302-02 is unambiguous; the description alone is not, because Öhlins uses similar wording across sizes. Check dimension a 44 mm, dimension b 90 mm against what you have removed; a close size is not the same part. The reservoir takes the oil the shaft displaces as it enters the damper. A separating piston or bladder keeps nitrogen and oil apart; if it fails the damping goes with it.

Fitting and Setup Service

If you would rather not open the damper yourself, we can do it — we are an authorised Öhlins service centre and rebuild these units as a matter of routine.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 00302-02

Category: Reservoirs

Dimension A: 44 mm

Dimension B: 90 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/00302-02_d0048a12-e2ba-4d44-a38f-d1ffd43bbd16.png?v=1788871586
