DescriptionThe whole story▼

The JP ACCGP YA033 is built for the Yamaha R1M (2020–2024), the flagship fitted with electronic suspension and carbon bodywork that already treats every rider input as data to react to. A sixty-degree rotation and milled Ergal housing give this particular R1M a throttle motion that matches how precisely the rest of the bike is tuned.

Key Features

  • Yamaha R1M (2020–2024)
  • GP Series ride-by-wire quick throttle with a sixty degree rotation angle
  • Progressive return spring, preload adjustable externally in three positions
  • CNC-machined from solid Ergal 7075
  • Plug-and-play on the motorcycle's own connector
  • Standard throttle assembly refits at any time

A Chassis Built to React to You

The R1M's semi-active suspension reads throttle, brake, and lean angle continuously and adjusts damping within milliseconds, which means the quality of the rider's throttle input feeds directly into how the whole chassis behaves through a corner. A shorter, more consistent rotation gives that system a cleaner signal to work with.

Sixty Degrees Instead of Ninety

Cutting the throttle's rotation from its standard range down to sixty degrees shortens the distance the hand travels between closed and fully open, without touching the throttle body or sensor logic that reports to the bike's electronics. The R1M still receives exactly the signal Yamaha designed it around.

Weight Savings That Set the Tone

Yamaha built the R1M around carbon bodywork and lighter wheels specifically to shave mass from a platform that is already close to its practical limit, a philosophy that extends naturally to a throttle assembly machined rather than cast, saving weight in a part most owners never weigh themselves.

A Reset to Match the Change

After fitting, a diagnostic tool runs a short relearn so the ECU logs the new throttle position sensor's reference points correctly, a step that takes a few minutes and is the same procedure a workshop would run after any throttle-related service on this generation of R1M.

Milled Ergal Under the Grip

The housing is machined from a solid billet of 7075 aluminium, the same grade used across the GP Series range, chosen for how consistently it holds tolerance after the kind of repeated, hard throttle use a flagship supersport like this one is built to withstand.

A Bike That Mostly Sees a Circuit

Many R1M owners register the bike for the road but spend the bulk of its hours on a track day calendar, which is where the difference between a sixty-degree and a standard throttle stroke becomes most apparent lap after lap rather than on an occasional commute.
