DescriptionThe whole story▼
Engineered exclusively for the Yamaha YZF-R3 (2015–2020), the Arrow Competition Evo 71181CKR is a full titanium exhaust system built around one objective: maximum track performance. At just 3.21 kg complete, it delivers a meaningful reduction in unsprung and total mass, sharpening throttle response and handling in equal measure — making every lap a more connected, rewarding experience.
Key Features
- Full titanium construction throughout — header, silencer body and internals — combining extreme lightness with outstanding heat resistance and longevity.
- Complete system weight of just 3.21 kg for genuine mass reduction and improved handling on the YZF-R3.
- Carbon end caps add structural rigidity and a purposeful racing aesthetic.
- Removable dB killer included — adjust sound output to suit the circuit or noise regulations of the day.
- Silencer outlet diameter of 50 mm and overall silencer length of 270 mm, optimised for competition flow characteristics.
- Direct bolt-on fitment engineered specifically for the Yamaha YZF-R3 2015–2020 — no modifications required.
Performance and Build Quality
The Competition Evo name is not marketing shorthand — this system is designed exclusively for race use. The titanium header feeds exhaust gases efficiently into a titanium silencer with titanium internals, minimising thermal soak and maximising scavenging effect across the rev range. The result is sharper, cleaner throttle response at race pace, where the standard steel system's weight and flow restrictions become most apparent.
Carbon end caps complete the package, resisting heat and vibration at sustained high rpm while keeping total system weight to its class-leading minimum. Arrow recommends a dedicated ECU remap or custom mapping to unlock the full performance benefit of this system — fuelling that was calibrated around the stock exhaust will not take full advantage of the improved flow.
Fitment and Compatibility
This system is designed and manufactured to fit the following motorcycle directly:
- Yamaha YZF-R3 — model years 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020
Race use only. This exhaust system carries no road-use homologation and is not approved for use on public roads.
