DescriptionThe whole story▼
Racing a Suzuki GSX-R 750 at an unfamiliar circuit raises many questions, and the choice of front pad is one of them. AGPA106 in the ZXC ceramic racing mixture is Accossato's front pad for the GSX-R 750 from 2011 to 2025, the ceramic option in its range. It is meant for teams who want to compare it with their usual compound when they arrive at a new track and decide which suits the layout and the rider.
Key Features
- Front pads for the Suzuki GSX-R 750, 2011 to 2025
- ZXC ceramic racing compound, SKU AGPA106ZXC
- A ceramic compound ideal for racing, per Accossato
- For testing at new circuits
- Two boxes cover both front calipers
- Rear pad listed: AGPP39
- Accossato is located near Turin
- No ABE on file; competition only
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato, located in Villastellone near Turin, calls ZXC a ceramic compound ideal for racing. It is the most specialised mixture on this front plate. Accossato also claims slow wear, limited heat and strong stopping power as general qualities of its pads.
Choosing Pads for a New Circuit
Every circuit asks something different of the brakes. A track with long straights and hairpins puts a lot of heat into the pads, while a flowing layout needs a smooth release more than raw bite. When the team arrives at a new circuit with the GSX-R 750, the first practice session is for learning the lines. The second can be used to compare ZXC with the usual pads, keeping tyres and suspension the same. The rider notes bite, release and consistency; the team records lap times and lever travel.
Fit pads on a clean bench, clean the discs and pistons, and pump the lever firmly before rolling out. Use one compound on both front calipers, and keep notes for the next visit to that circuit. A pad that suits a stop-and-go layout may not be the right answer on a fast, flowing track, and the notes save a lot of guesswork the following year.
Fitment and Compatibility
Travelling to a new venue with a GSX-R 750 from the 2011 to 2025 range, pack AGPA106 in whichever compounds you plan to compare, with a box for each of the two front calipers. The rear caliper uses AGPP39. Alongside ZXC, the plate is produced as Sintered, EV1 and EV2.
Road Approval
We hold no ABE or German approval for AGPA106ZXC. The pads are sold for motorsport.
Scope of Delivery
