DescriptionThe whole story▼
Spoked wheels, chrome details and twin clocks give the Moto Guzzi V7 III Special its classic character, and its owners tend to enjoy it at a civilised pace: morning rides to work, weekend visits, a detour through the countryside on the way home. Accossato's Organic front pads are designed for that rhythm. They fit the front caliper of the V7 III Special from 2017 to 2019 and deliver a soft, quiet bite that is kind to the disc.
Key Features
- Organic (OR) front pads for the Moto Guzzi V7 III Special
- Model years 2017 to 2019
- Accossato: extended performance and less disc wear
- Soft, progressive feel for relaxed riding
- Quiet operation in town
- Two pads per box, one caliper
- Accossato rear pad AGPA28 and disc DKS032 listed
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato says the Organic compound is made to keep performing for a longer period while limiting wear on the disc. On a classic-styled V7 III Special used for regular, unhurried riding, that means long intervals between pad changes and a rotor that keeps its smooth face. The compound is designed to warm moderately, which keeps its response steady.
The Classic Way to Ride
The V7 III Special is at its happiest on quiet B-roads and through small towns, with the engine thumping along in a high gear. In that kind of riding the front brake is rarely pushed hard; what matters is a lever that is easy to dose, predictable from cold and free of noise. The Organic compound fits that description. It also suits riders returning to motorcycling after some years away, who appreciate a brake that builds gradually rather than biting sharply at the first touch.
Spoked Wheels and Clean Discs
Cleaning a spoked wheel sends spray and cleaning product in every direction. Cover the disc or clean it separately with brake cleaner afterwards, as any residue on the friction surface will spoil the feel of fresh pads.
Fitment and Compatibility
These pads fit the front caliper of the Moto Guzzi V7 III Special from 2017 to 2019. In Accossato's catalogue the entry V7 III 750 Special covers a wider date range, but this product is listed for 2017 to 2019. One box equips one caliper; check how many front calipers your bike has. The same pad also comes in ST, EV1, EV2 and ZXC. For the rear, Accossato lists AGPA28, and disc DKS032 is listed for this Special.
Road Approval
We hold no German ABE or test certificate for these pads and therefore sell them for racing and competition use.
Scope of Delivery
Two Organic front pads, a set for one caliper, in one box.
