Reservoir caps carry the gas valve and are torqued to a specification. Hose length is part of the installation and cannot be substituted freely. Fittings are specific to the hose and the housing they connect.

Genuine Service Part

Suspension is one of the few areas where the original part is genuinely the cheaper decision. The part number is the contract: it defines material, dimension and finish together. If you are between two sizes, send us the measurement and we will check it against the catalogue. Öhlins parts are unit-specific: a close dimension is not a substitute.

Identifying the Right Part

Part number 00637-18 is unambiguous; the description alone is not, because Öhlins uses similar wording across sizes. Öhlins states dimension a 10 mm, dimension b 10 mm, dimension c 200 mm for this number, and those figures are the deciding ones. The reservoir hose carries the full gas charge and is pressure-tested accordingly. A soft reservoir usually means the bladder has failed rather than the gas has leaked.

Fitting and Setup Service

A damper rebuild is workshop work: it needs the unit dismantled, the shim stack rebuilt in the correct order and the gas charge reset. We are an authorised Öhlins service centre and do exactly that in house — send us the unit or ask us to fit the part with your order.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 00637-18

Category: Hoses

Dimension A: 10 mm

Dimension B: 10 mm

Dimension C: 200 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/00637-18_c0a59702-2b9a-42cf-88be-3780729e19d8.png?v=1788870000
