A housing carries adjusters and their seals, so its bores matter as much as its outside.

Key Features

Original Öhlins service part

Öhlins part number 02205-01

Where It Sits

Öhlins publishes no separate dimension for this position, so the part number carries the identity. A cracked bracket is a safety matter rather than a cosmetic one. Öhlins machines brackets from billet so the bores stay true under clamping. Housings carry bores for adjusters and seals; their concentricity decides whether the unit seals.

Genuine Service Part

The part number is the contract: it defines material, dimension and finish together. Öhlins supports units that are decades old, which is why the spare parts list runs to thousands of numbers. Send us the model and serial number of your unit and we will confirm the position before you order. For a full rebuild, the seal kit plus the wear parts is usually the sensible order.

How to Be Sure It Fits

Öhlins identifies this position by the number 02205-01 in the exploded view for the unit it belongs to. Where no measurement is given, the drawing position is what identifies the part. Clamps have a specified torque; over-tightening distorts the bore they hold. Öhlins anodises housings for corrosion resistance rather than for looks.

Fitting and Setup Service

Öhlins recommends that its units are serviced by an authorised centre. We are one: rebuild, revalve and setup all happen in our own workshop.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 02205-01

Category: Brackets

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/02205-01_2b98c4df-2804-449b-a957-a29ea7908cb6.png?v=1788874049
