DescriptionThe whole story▼

On the newer SuperSport 950, the JP ACCGP DU020 cuts the throttle's rotation to 60 degrees while keeping the GP Series' familiar cable-pull feel and diagnostic-reset sensor, matching an updated sport-touring V-twin whose riding position still asks a fair amount of a rider's wrist over distance.

Key Features

  • Ducati SuperSport 950 (2021–2024)
  • GP Series ride-by-wire quick throttle with a sixty degree rotation angle
  • Progressive return spring, preload adjustable externally in three positions
  • CNC-machined from solid Ergal 7075
  • Plug-and-play on the motorcycle's own connector
  • Standard throttle assembly refits at any time

An Update, Not a Rewrite

The SuperSport 950 refines rather than replaces the sport-touring format of the model it followed, keeping the same semi-sport riding position and the same intent of combining real handling with the ability to ride comfortably for a few hours. A throttle upgrade on an already well-rounded bike earns its place through refinement rather than transformation.

Where the Hand Sits

The 950's clip-ons sit higher and further back than a full sportbike's, trading some outright aggression for a position the wrist can hold for longer without complaint, though it still carries more weight than an upright naked would ask for. A shorter throttle stroke continues that same compromise at the grip itself.

Sixty Degrees, Same Familiar Pull

Cutting the rotation needed to reach full throttle down to 60 degrees shortens the distance the hand has to travel without changing the mechanical cable-pull sensation the standard throttle already has, so the bike's usual feel carries over even as the stroke itself gets shorter.

A Sensor That Settles In Quickly

The GP Series' integrated sensor communicates with the 950's existing electronics the same way the factory part does, so fuel mapping and any rider aids continue working exactly as before. A brief diagnostic relearn after fitting is the only step needed to settle the new sensor's range in.

Precision for a Long Ride

A sport-touring bike like the 950 is built around days that might run several hours rather than a short sprint, and a shorter throttle stroke reduces the small, repeated effort the wrist carries over that time, even if each individual input only changes slightly.

Nothing Left Permanently Changed

Fitting the GP Series does not involve cutting into the SuperSport's wiring or altering its factory cable run, since the kit is built as a direct, reversible fitment for this specific model, letting the standard throttle go back on exactly as it came off.
