Keep Both and Swap Them
The sensible way to own this part is as one of two front guards rather than as a replacement. The road item goes back on before the bike sees a public road or an inspection; this one goes on in the van on the way to a circuit.
Four fasteners each way makes that a five-minute job in a paddock. Keep the road guard's spacers with it, in the same bag, because those are what get lost.
