DescriptionThe whole story▼

The ZXMoto 500RR is a 470 cc inline-four that makes its 83 hp at 13,500 rpm, and a four-cylinder engine that spins that high deserves a silencer that lets you hear it. Part ZX02SO0140IIC is Termignoni's first aftermarket kit for the bike: a dedicated link pipe and an SO01 Conical silencer in natural stainless steel with a carbon fibre end cap, sold together under one number.

Key Features

  • Racing slip-on kit ZX02SO0140IIC for the ZXMoto 500RR, model years 2025 and 2026.
  • SO01 Conical silencer with a stainless steel envelope and a carbon fibre end cap.
  • Dedicated ZX02 link pipe is part of the kit — nothing else to order.
  • Works with the 500RR’s own heat shield, which simply goes back on.
  • Removable dB killer supplied.
  • Deliveries start in October 2026.

A small four that lives at the top of the rev range

Supersport fours of this size have been almost absent from Europe for two decades, and the 500RR is one of the reasons the class is back in conversation. Bore and stroke are 59 by 43 mm — a very short-stroke layout that only gets going past 9,000 rpm and keeps pulling to the limiter. The standard silencer is built to pass a noise test at a fixed engine speed. A free-flowing Conical changes the character most exactly where this engine spends its time on a track: the last 4,000 rpm before the shift light.

What is in the box

Termignoni list three numbers for the bike, and it is worth knowing how they fit together. ZX02SO0140IIC is the complete kit: the link pipe that runs from the standard header to the silencer, plus the Conical itself. The link pipe on its own, ZX029430I, only makes sense if you already have a compatible Termignoni silencer or need a replacement; Termignoni do not sell the Conical for this bike without it. The black variant ZX02SO0140IBC is the same parts with a black stainless envelope.

The single-sided swingarm shows it off

ZXMoto gave the 500RR an aluminium single-sided swingarm, so the right-hand side of the bike is open: rear wheel, hub, and whatever silencer sits above it. That makes the can more visible than on almost any bike in the class. The natural stainless body with its carbon cap picks up the white and red of the standard livery rather than fighting it, and it is the version that shows its heat colouring after a few sessions — which some owners want and some do not.

Heat shield and dB killer

The kit is designed around the heat shield ZXMoto fits at the factory, so there is no extra part to buy and the rider’s right boot keeps the same protection. The dB killer is removable. Leave it in for track days with a noise limit, which is most of them in Germany; take it out where the circuit allows.

Fitment and Compatibility

ZXMoto 500RR, model years 2025 and 2026. It fits the standard mounting points; the header stays on the bike. It does not fit the larger ZXMoto 820 RR, which has its own exhaust layout.

Road Approval

Not road legal. ZX02SO0140IIC is sold as a racing kit, without EC type approval and without ABE, for closed-circuit use only.
