DescriptionThe whole story▼
Every rider in a city knows the moment. A car waiting at a side road creeps out because the driver has looked at the gap and not at the motorcycle in it, and the next second belongs entirely to the brakes. On a BMW G310R the rear pedal is part of that second, adding stopping power and keeping the bike settled while the front does the bulk of the work. Accossato's Sintered (ST) material in the AGPP91 rear pad is chosen by riders who want that contribution to feel the same in the wet as in the dry, and the listing covers 2016 to 2026.
Key Features
- Sintered (ST) rear pads for the BMW G310R, article AGPP91ST
- Model years 2016 to 2026, rear wheel
- Accossato describes a high, constant grip level at any temperature
- Keeps working when the disc is wet
- Two pads per box, filling the one rear caliper
- An Organic (OR) version of the same outline suits gentler use
- Front brake of this bike: the AGPA184 pad, model years 2016 to 2026
- No approval papers held; supplied for the circuit
Construction and Material Quality
The selling point of this filling is that it does not change its mind. A pad that has stood in the cold all night is said to answer like one that has been working, and rain on the disc does not put a delay in front of the response. Fade is kept away because the material does not let heat run up unchecked. That combination is easy to undervalue at the rear of a small roadster until the one occasion when it counts, which is a hard stop the rider did not schedule. Inside the box are the two pads the caliper needs, and nothing else is required to fit them.
An Emergency Stop at a Wet Junction
A stop of that kind is almost entirely a matter of what the rider does in the first tenth of a second. The lever wants squeezing progressively rather than snatching, because the fork needs a moment to compress and load the front tyre before it can take real pressure, and the pedal wants pressing at the same time, firmly but not to the point where the anti-lock system is doing all the thinking. On a wet surface everything happens more slowly and there is less grip to divide between the two wheels, which is why the rear contribution is worth having at all.
The technique only exists if it has been practised. An empty industrial estate on a Sunday morning is enough: a handful of stops from moderate speed, repeated until the hands and the foot do it without instruction. While you are there, notice how much shorter the bike stops when both brakes are used. Afterwards, let everything cool before parking the G310R, and give the pads a glance, since a practice session of that sort uses more of them than a week of commuting does.
Fitment and Compatibility
The AGPP91 is catalogued for the rear wheel of the BMW G310R from 2016 to 2026, the same span the front pad of this bike covers. One caliper means one box, and the two pads inside go on as a pair so the disc is gripped evenly from both sides. Up front the machine takes the AGPA184 pad. There is no Accossato disc for the G310R in the programme, and the rear outline is also offered in a milder Organic (OR) material for riders who barely touch the pedal.
Road Approval
No German ABE exists for the AGPP91ST in our records, and no test report was supplied with it. We sell the pad for track and competition riding only.
Scope of Delivery
