DescriptionThe whole story▼

The Scout platform has a real racing following in North America and Europe, and Accossato lists its EV2 racing compound as a front pad for the Indian Scout Bobber built from 2017 to 2024. EV2 is the company's top racing mixture, meant for competition and hard circuit use. For riders who build a Scout Bobber into a race or flat-track-inspired track bike, this pad offers the bite and consistency Accossato designs for the grid.

Key Features

  • EV2 racing front pads for the Indian Scout Bobber, 2017 to 2024
  • Accossato's top racing compound
  • For qualifying, race starts and late stops
  • Maker claims slow wear and fade resistance
  • Box with two pads for one caliper
  • Rear pad AGPP91 offered for the same bike
  • For competition use in Germany

Construction and Material Quality

Accossato calls EV2 a top racing compound. Beyond that, the company claims its familiar pad properties: long life, modest wear and less fade because the pad heats up less. No friction data is published, and we do not add any. On a light cruiser used on track, steady lever feel through a race distance is what matters most.

A Scout Bobber on Track

Building a Scout Bobber for circuit use usually means improving the brakes first. EV2 is intended for timed sessions and races, with hard stops at the end of each straight and consistent feel as the laps go on. Check pad thickness between sessions and inspect the disc for heat marks. If you also ride the Bobber on the road, the EV1 or ST pad is the more practical choice; ZXC is the ceramic racing alternative.

Pit Lane Routine

With only one front disc, a Scout Bobber race build asks a lot of that single caliper. Fresh fluid before each event, a clean disc and a careful look at pad depth after every session keep the brake predictable. Many racers carry a spare set of pads and swap them in the paddock when wear gets close to the limit.

Fitment and Compatibility

Accossato's pad AGPA92 is listed for the front of the Indian Scout Bobber from 2017 to 2024. With a single front caliper, one box is enough for the front. The rear takes AGPP91. Clean the pistons before pushing them back and bed the pads in during the first session.

Road Approval

There are no approval papers for EV2 pads on our side; in Germany they are sold for racing and competition only.

Scope of Delivery

Two EV2 racing pads for the front caliper.
