DescriptionThe whole story▼

The big-bore Suzuki GSF1250 Bandit has a loyal following among riders who like a strong engine on a fast country road, and some of them take it to a track day now and then. AGPA75 in the EV1 street/track mixture is Accossato's front pad for the GSF1250 Bandit from 2007 to 2018. It suits the ambitious road rider who wants a sharper front brake for spirited riding and a pad that can cope with an amateur session on a circuit.

Key Features

  • Front pads for the Suzuki GSF1250 Bandit, 2007 to 2018
  • EV1 street/track compound, SKU AGPA75EV1
  • Excellent grip for road riding and amateur track use, says Accossato
  • For fast country roads
  • Suitable for a first track day
  • Rear pad listed: AGPP88
  • Bandit A, S and F included in the list
  • No German approval on file; circuit use

Construction and Material Quality

Accossato developed the EV1 mixture for riders who use their bike on the road and occasionally on a track, and says it offers excellent grip in both cases. The general Accossato claims also apply: slow wear, controlled temperatures and high stopping power.

Fast Roads on a Heavy Naked Bike

The Bandit 1250 is quick, but it is also heavy, and that weight has to be slowed down before every fast bend. On a sweeping country road, the rider brakes firmly in a straight line, releases smoothly as the bike leans in and gets back on the throttle at the apex. An EV1 pad is made for that rhythm. For those who want to learn more, a track day in a novice group is the safest place to practise hard stops and find out how much the front tyre can take. Before such a day, bleed the brakes if the fluid is old and bed in new pads on the road first.

Between sessions, let the calipers cool down and check that the lever feel has not changed. On the ride home, the same pads work well in normal traffic, with a firm but progressive response.

Fitment and Compatibility

AGPA75 is listed for the GSF1250 Bandit from 2007 to 2018, including the Bandit A, the Bandit S and the GSF 1250 F Bandit. With two front calipers on the Bandit, you need two boxes. The rear takes AGPP88. The front plate is also made as Organic, Sintered and EV2.

Road Approval

We have no ABE or German test certificate for AGPA75EV1, so it is sold for track and competition riding.
