DescriptionThe whole story▼

Not every rider wants a bright lever. On a Moto Morini Corsaro 1200, the Accossato LV014 folding clutch lever can also be ordered in titanium, an anodised colour that sits quietly next to black and bare metal parts. Accossato lists the LV014 for the Corsaro 1200 from 2007 to 2017, including the Veloce. It mounts on the original clutch master cylinder, its reach to the grip can be adjusted, and its blade is hinged to a black base, so a knock can fold it aside.

Key Features

  • Folding clutch lever for the Moto Morini Corsaro 1200, 2007 to 2017

  • Blade hinged to a black anodised base
  • Reach adjustable
  • RST blade with lightening cut-out, or solid NRST
  • Standard length
  • No German ABE documented; for the track

Construction and Material Quality

Titanium, on the LV014, is the name of a colour. The lever is aluminium throughout: both parts are CNC-machined from it and then anodised, and titanium is one of eight shades Accossato offers for the blade, alongside black, blue, gold, green, orange, red and silver. The base is always black. It sits on the pivot of the clutch master cylinder and carries the reach adjuster, while the blade is joined to it by a hinge. The RST version adds a lightening cut-out to the blade; NRST leaves it solid.

A Quiet Colour for a Naked Bike

Bright blades make a statement, and on some bikes that is the point. On a naked bike like the Corsaro 1200, where the controls are in plain view, a blade in titanium is the calmer choice: it reads as a technical finish rather than a splash of colour, and it sits well beside the black base without disappearing into it. It may also show everyday marks less obviously than a bright blue or orange, which matters on a bike that is often parked outside. The folding hinge works the same in every colour. If the Corsaro topples to its left, the blade can swing back rather than break, which reduces the chance of damage without ruling it out. For a rider who wants the function without the show, that combination is the reason to pick the LV014.

Fitment and Compatibility

Accossato lists the LV014 for the Corsaro 1200 and the Corsaro Veloce 1200 from 2007 to 2017. It is one of two folding clutch levers in Accossato's list for this bike; the other is the LV008, listed from 2005 to 2018. Since the years overlap, compare the photos of both with the original lever on your Corsaro, and ask us with your model and year if you are unsure. Only the LV014 comes in titanium. For the brake, Accossato lists the folding LV012 and the remote-adjustable RA001.

Road Approval

Accossato has not documented a German ABE for the LV014, so our offer is limited to track use.
