Titanium from the fitting to the end cap, and an exhaust that will not look the same in a year. Spark's Konix Evo for the Euro5+ Z900 is the version that develops its own colour instead of arriving with one.
Key Features
- Euro5+ homologated slip-on for the Kawasaki Z900, 2025 to 2026.
- Konix Evo silencer: titanium case, titanium interior, titanium fitting.
- Carbon fibre end cap.
- Carbon fibre heat shield on the pipe, included.
- Quick installation, no further modification to the motorcycle.
- Same list price as the electro-coloured dark version.
Titanium All the Way Through
Spark specifies the case, the silencer interior and the fitting in titanium. Two of those three are parts nobody will ever see, and making them titanium is a weight decision taken where it cannot be admired.
The company calls the result ultralight, and the figures for this range bear it out: 1.7 kg against a 4.3 kg standard silencer. Two and a half kilos off the tail of a naked bike is felt in direction changes rather than on a scale.
A Finish That Keeps Moving
Bare titanium exposed to exhaust heat grows an oxide layer, and that layer shifts through straw, bronze and blue — strongest at the front of the case where the gas arrives hottest. Spark says as much about its Grid-O silencers, and it applies here too.
Whether that is a feature depends entirely on the owner. If you want an exhaust that looks in three years exactly as it did on delivery, the electro-coloured GKA0907DOM is the same silencer with a finish that does not move. If you want the case to record the miles, this is the one.
Approved for the Newer Bike
The 2025 Z900 is registered to Euro5+, and a slip-on homologated to the earlier Euro5 standard does not automatically transfer. Spark developed and certified this one for the newer machine.
Installation is quick and needs nothing else: no remap, no error lights, no additional parts. The carbon fibre heat shield that sits on the connecting pipe is supplied with the slip-on.
The Carbon End Cap
The end cap is the one place on an exhaust where carbon fibre is doing a real job rather than decorating one. It sits at the coolest point of the system, after the gas has given up most of its heat, and carries no load beyond closing the case.
On the Konix Evo it is also what defines the silhouette. Spark's cap is angular rather than round, and on a Z900 — a motorcycle built from hard creases — that shape is the reason the silencer looks specified for the bike rather than adapted to it.
What Else It Will Take
This slip-on is homologated on its own and needs nothing further. It is also the intended partner for Spark's limited edition titanium racing collector, GKA8503, which takes 5.6 kg off the front half of the system.
Fitting both turns the motorcycle into a racing one — the collector removes the catalytic converter and ends the road approval, whatever certificate the silencer carries. Worth knowing before combining them.
Fitment & Compatibility
Kawasaki Z900, 2025 through 2026. The electro-coloured dark version is GKA0907DOM and the racing version GKA0907T. The Grid-O slip-ons are GKA0908TOM and GKA0908T. Spark's limited edition titanium racing collector for the same bike is GKA8503.
Road Approval
Euro5+ homologated. Legal for road use as supplied.
