DescriptionThe whole story▼

Fitted to the 2026 Ducati Panigale V4 R, the JP ACCGP DU056 brings the GP Series throttle to Ducati's current World Superbike-based flagship. A rider stepping onto this bike for a track session gets a shorter, sixty-degree throttle rotation in place of the stock part's wider arc, nothing more, nothing less.

Key Features

  • Ducati Panigale V4 R (2026)
  • GP Series ride-by-wire quick throttle with a sixty degree rotation angle
  • Progressive return spring, preload adjustable externally in three positions
  • CNC-machined from solid Ergal 7075
  • Plug-and-play on the motorcycle's own connector
  • Standard throttle assembly refits at any time

The Newest Version of an Unforgiving Idea

Each generation of the V4 R carries forward the same basic premise: strip out anything that slows down the transfer of a rider's intent to the rear tyre. The 2026 model continues that, and a throttle that asks for less wrist rotation to reach full opening fits squarely inside that premise rather than adding anything foreign to how the bike is meant to be ridden.

A Spring That Reads the Track

Fast, repeated transitions between braking, coasting, and accelerating define a lap on a circuit bike, and the standard return spring was never built with that rhythm specifically in mind. The GP Series progressive spring, with its three external preload settings, lets a rider find a snap-back feel that matches their own corner-exit habits rather than whatever compromise the factory part settled on.

Machined, Not Stamped

The shorter throttle cam at the centre of the GP Series part is machined from a solid block of Ergal aluminium, a slower and more exacting process than stamping a cam from sheet stock. On a part whose entire job is holding a precise geometry under the kind of load a racetrack puts through it, that extra manufacturing step is where the consistency actually comes from.

Minutes, Not an Afternoon

Fitting follows the same Plug and Play logic across the whole GP Series range: the connector to the throttle body and the mounting points on the bar match the standard part exactly, so the job is quick regardless of how track-focused the donor motorcycle is. A throttle position reset through diagnostic equipment afterwards is the only additional step.

Where the Extreme End of the Rev Range Lives

A bike built to compete at the limits of its homologation class spends meaningful time at engine speeds a typical road rider rarely sees, and the margin for throttle imprecision shrinks as revs climb. Less rotation between closed and fully open gives a rider more certainty about exactly how much throttle they are carrying at any given instant near that limit.

Back to Standard, If Needed

The GP Series throttle's reliance on the original connector and switchgear means a rider or mechanic can remove it and refit the stock throttle at any point without needing to re-source any other part, useful during a season where a bike moves between different riders or different roles, track and occasional road use alike.
