DescriptionThe whole story▼

The supercharged Kawasaki ZX1000 Ninja H2 family is known for its extraordinary acceleration, which also puts great demands on the front brake. Accossato's AGPA106 front pad covers several versions from 2015 to 2026: the H2, the H2 Carbon, the track-only H2 R and the sport-touring H2 SX SE and SE+. In the Sintered mixture, it suits owners who ride their H2 on public roads in all conditions, including long trips.

Key Features

  • Front pads AGPA106 for the Kawasaki ZX1000 Ninja H2, 2015 to 2026
  • Sintered mixture, SKU AGPA106ST
  • Constant high grip at low and high temperatures, says Accossato
  • Grips well on wet roads
  • Suits road riding on the H2 and touring on the SX SE
  • Even response on long trips
  • EV1, EV2 and ZXC are also made on this plate
  • No ABE on file; for track use

Construction and Material Quality

Accossato says this Sintered compound keeps a high level of grip that barely varies with temperature and still bites when the disc is wet. On a bike as fast as the H2, braking often starts from high speed, and a pad that behaves predictably in cold or wet conditions is reassuring. Accossato also notes slow wear, heat kept low to resist fade and strong braking power.

Hyperbike on Ordinary Roads

Most H2 owners use their bike on public roads. That means cool mornings, variable road surfaces and sudden rain, as well as long runs on the SX SE and SE+ with luggage. The front brake must work reliably in all of these situations. The Sintered pad provides a steady response from the first stop, which is exactly what a road rider on an H2 needs.

Because the H2 can reach high speeds very quickly, it is worth checking the pad thickness regularly and replacing the fluid at the intervals in the manual.

Touring on the SX SE

On the SX SE and SE+, the front brake also has to handle a passenger and panniers. Plan longer braking distances with a full load and brake smoothly to keep the bike balanced.

Fitment and Compatibility

Accossato lists AGPA106 for the front of the ZX1000 Ninja H2 from 2015 to 2021, the H2 Carbon from 2017 to 2020, the H2 R from 2015 to 2026, the H2 SX SE from 2018 to 2024 and the SX SE+ from 2018 to 2026. The base H2 SX of 2018 to 2026 uses AGPA109 instead. Rear pads are AGPA42 and AGPA76. The H2 has two front calipers, so order two boxes.

Road Approval

There is no ABE or German approval certificate for AGPA106ST in our records. It is sold for racing and track use.

Scope of Delivery

Two Sintered front pads for one caliper.
