The Streetfighter V2 arrived for 2022 as a naked twin built around the Superquadro engine of the Panigale V2, with a wide, flat handlebar in place of clip-ons. It is light, lively and at home on tighter circuits, and many riders turn a two-day track event into a weekend, sleeping in the paddock between the days. Nights at a circuit have their own rules about fuel. Accossato's FC105 is listed for the Streetfighter V2 of 2022 to 2024: an aluminium filler cap, CNC-machined, that opens and closes with a quick-closing pawl in one of six pin colours.

Construction and Material Quality
Aluminium is the only material Accossato names for the FC105, and the company shapes the cap completely on CNC machines; the result, in its words, is robust and durable, and the design is new. On the Streetfighter V2 the quick-closing pawl makes a top-up by daylight or by headlamp equally quick, and the pin on it comes in six colours. A pawl that gets damaged can be bought on its own.
A Night in the Paddock
Sleeping at the circuit saves an early start, but a paddock at night is a place where fuel and everyday life come close together. Camping stoves, lanterns, barbecues and the odd cigarette all appear once the track has closed, and the fuel cans are often only a few steps away. Plan the evening before it gets dark. Refuel the Streetfighter V2 for the next morning while there is still daylight, close the pawl and check it, then wipe the tank and the filler dry. Store the cans closed, upright and outside the tent or awning, away from the cooking area, and never take fuel into a van where people are sleeping. If you need light for any job involving fuel, use a headlamp rather than anything with a flame. In the morning, before the first session, look at the cap and at the ground under the bike once more: a dark patch or a smell of fuel after the night tells you something needs attention, and the paddock is a far better place to find that than the grid.
Fitment and Compatibility
The Streetfighter V2 appears on Accossato's list with the FC105 for 2022, 2023 and 2024. In our range the same cap is also assigned to the Panigale V2, the Panigale V4 and the Scrambler 1100. The swap itself belongs to a cold engine and a parked bike, and a seal that sits evenly all round is the thing to look for before the first top-up.
Road Approval
The FC105 has no German ABE and no documented expert report, which makes it a part for the circuit. The Streetfighter V2's own cap normally locks with the ignition key; on public roads it stays fitted, and this cap is not a straightforward alternative there.
