DescriptionThe whole story▼

The Kawasaki KX450X is the cross-country member of the KX family, built for long loops through woods and fields rather than short motocross sprints. For the 2024 model year Accossato offers the AGPA29 front pad in the Organic mixture. It is the gentle, long-life option in the range, meant for trail days, training rides and relaxed cross-country outings where hours in the saddle count for more than lap times.

Key Features

  • Front pads AGPA29 for the Kawasaki KX450X, model year 2024
  • Organic mixture, SKU AGPA29OR
  • Accossato promises long wear and a kind touch on the disc
  • Smooth, easily dosed response on slow technical ground
  • Quiet on trail rides
  • Other versions of this plate: ST, STMX and EV1
  • No ABE on file; competition use

Construction and Material Quality

This compound, in Accossato's words, gives lasting performance and restricts wear on the disc. For a KX450X that spends whole days on forest tracks, that means fewer pad changes between rides and a front rotor that keeps its thickness. Accossato also builds its pads to limit heat and therefore fade, while retaining solid stopping force. The organic layer is bonded to the usual AGPA29 carrier.

Slow Going in the Woods

Tight single track between trees asks for delicate front brake work: a light squeeze before a root, a longer drag down a stony gully, a stop to look for the line. A mild compound suits that pace. The lever reacts in proportion, the wheel is less likely to tuck on wet leaves, and the rider can concentrate on the trail rather than on the brake.

After a woods ride, pick sticks and leaves out of the caliper area and check that nothing has lodged behind the disc guard. Look at the pad thickness when you service the air filter. A front disc kept free of chain lube and cleaning spray will reward you with a consistent feel.

Fitment and Compatibility

In Accossato's list, the AGPA29 front reference applies to the KX450X of 2024 only. Owners of a 2021 to 2023 KX450X need AGPA51 for the front instead. For the rear, AGPP106 is listed across 2021 to 2024, and DK060 is the Accossato disc catalogued for this Kawasaki. A box contains two pads for one caliper. When a model changes generation, pad shapes can shift, so compare your old set with the new one before starting.

Road Approval

AGPA29OR is not covered by any ABE or German test certificate that we could supply. It is sold for competition purposes.

Scope of Delivery

Two Organic front pads for a single caliper.
