DescriptionThe whole story▼
This Accossato kit covers the ABS-equipped Yamaha Tracer 900 and Tracer 900 GT, built between 2017 and 2020, with seven braided hoses routed exactly as the factory specified. The extra lines over the later five-hose 2023 kit come from how this generation's ABS system sits in the circuit, and replacing every section with braid gives a firmer, more consistent lever whether the bike is riding two-up with luggage or solo and unladen. This generation of Tracer 900 is common on the used market, and a braided hose kit is one of the more straightforward ways to freshen up a bike that has already covered real mileage.
Key Features
- Seven-hose set for the ABS-equipped 2017–2020 Tracer 900
- Aeronautical braid sheath in 20 colours
- Stainless steel fittings, the only finish offered for this part
- Keeps the factory Standard-layout routing through the ABS system
- Sold as a single kit matched to this part number
Construction and Material Quality
All seven lines in this kit share a stainless braid sheath and fittings cut from stainless steel, offered here in the bare finish only. Even without a painted option, the twenty sheath colours cover a wide enough spread, from understated tones to brighter ones, to suit most owners of this generation.
A Mid-Generation Routing Change
Yamaha adjusted the Tracer 900's brake routing more than once over its production life, which is why this 2017–2020 version needs seven hoses where the original 2015–2016 bike needed six and the final 2023 version needed only five; where the ABS system sits in the circuit is the main driver of that difference.
Fitment and Compatibility
This kit fits the Yamaha Tracer 900 built between 2017 and 2020, and the same part also covers the Tracer 900 GT of those years. For the 2023 Tracer 900, Accossato lists a five-hose kit, part AGA0241, and for the original 2015–2016 bike, a six-hose kit, part AGF9777. Owners unsure which hose count applies to their bike can check the build year against Accossato's fitment tab, since this bike's routing changed more than once over its run.
Road Approval
Accossato documents no ABE or parts certificate for this kit, so it is intended for track and competition use.
Scope of Delivery
The kit contains 7 braided hoses for the Standard layout. Fittings such as banjo bolts and copper sealing washers are not listed as included, so it is worth checking the connecting hardware already on the bike before starting the job.
