The Cattiva's foundation is aerospace-grade forged magnesium — a material chosen for its extraordinary combination of rigidity and low density. Unlike cast aluminium wheels, forged magnesium allows OZ's engineers to place material precisely where structural loads demand it, resulting in a wheel that is both lighter and stiffer. The six-spoke geometry, refined through OZ's involvement in Superbike World Championship racing, channels braking and acceleration forces efficiently from tyre to hub, keeping flex to a minimum and feedback to the rider at a maximum.

Fitment and Compatibility
This wheel is designed exclusively for the BMW S1000RR K46 produced between 2009 and 2018. It is compatible only with machines originally equipped with cast wheels. This wheel is intended exclusively for closed-circuit track use and is not approved for road use. The original BMW rear sprocket is not compatible — a suitable replacement sprocket carrier is included in the delivery scope.
