DescriptionThe whole story▼

Accossato's Sintered rear pad fits the KTM 790 Adventure from 2019 to 2024. According to Accossato, the Sintered compound keeps a high, constant grip level at high and low temperatures and grips well in the wet. On an adventure bike carrying luggage and sometimes a passenger, much of the weight sits over the rear wheel, and the rear brake becomes an important partner to the front. This pad suits riders who tour in all weathers and want a rear pedal that behaves the same on a wet morning as on a dry afternoon.

Key Features

  • Sintered compound for the rear of the KTM 790 Adventure
  • Fits the 790 Adventure from 2019 to 2024
  • Accossato: constant grip across the temperature range
  • Reliable in rain and after river crossings
  • Steady pedal with panniers and a passenger
  • Two pads for the single rear caliper
  • The same rear pad comes as OR, STMX and EV1

Construction and Material Quality

Accossato designs its Sintered rear pad for a stable grip level from cold to hot, with good wet performance. The pads are pressed onto a steel carrier made for the 790 Adventure's rear caliper. Accossato's pads are also designed to limit heat build-up and resist fading.

Touring Two-Up

With a passenger and full panniers, a 790 Adventure puts much more load on its rear wheel, and the rear brake carries a bigger share of the work. On a wet descent the pad needs to bite on a damp disc without drama. Sintered pads are made for that. For relaxed solo commuting, OR is gentler on the disc; STMX is the dedicated off-road choice.

On a Long Trip

Rear pads on a loaded adventure bike can wear faster than expected, especially after muddy sections. Check them every few days on a long trip and carry a spare set if you are heading far from workshops. They weigh very little.

Fitment and Compatibility

This pad fits the rear caliper of the KTM 790 Adventure from 2019 to 2024, following Accossato's reference ADVENTURE 790 (2019-2024). One box is a full rear set. Accossato's front pad for the bike, AGPA96, needs two boxes for the two front calipers.

Road Approval

We have no German ABE or test paperwork for this rear pad and sell it for racing and competition.

Scope of Delivery

One box containing two Sintered rear pads for the KTM 790 Adventure.
