DescriptionThe whole story▼
The Brutale 675 opened MV Agusta's three-cylinder naked range to riders who wanted the look and sound of a Brutale in a lighter, more affordable package. Many owners later add a Brutale 800 to the garage, or ride with a friend who has one, and the two bikes share more than their styling. Accossato lists the same fuel tank cap for both, which makes life simpler wherever more than one triple is kept. For the Brutale 675 of 2012 to 2020, that cap is the FC101: quick-release, CNC-machined from aluminium, with the pin on its pawl in one of six colours.
Key Features
- Quick-release fuel tank cap for the MV Agusta Brutale 675, 2012 to 2020
- Listed by Accossato under several Brutale 675 variants
- Body made entirely of CNC-machined aluminium
- Quick-closing pawl
- Pin colours: blue, green, black, red, silver, gold
- Pawl available separately
- No German ABE documented; for use on circuits
Construction and Material Quality
The FC101 is aluminium throughout, shaped on CNC machines; Accossato describes it as robust and durable and its design as new. A quick-closing pawl opens and closes the Brutale 675's filler without delay, and the pin on it can be ordered in the colour of your choice. If the pawl is damaged, Accossato sells it as a separate spare.
Two Triples in One Garage
Some riders end up with two MV Agusta triples under one roof: a partner on the Brutale 675 and a rider on the 800, or one owner who kept the smaller bike for the track after buying the larger one for the road. Where both are listed with the FC101, as they are here, the caps work the same way on each bike, and whoever knows how to refuel one knows how to refuel the other. That matters on a track day with two bikes and one fuel can, when the second rider may be doing the job while the first is out on track. Choosing different pin colours for the two caps is a simple way to tell the bikes apart at a glance in a busy paddock. A single spare pawl kept in the shared toolbox fits either cap; with two colours, you might keep one of each. And as always, refuel one bike at a time, each with its engine switched off and cool.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato files the FC101 under several Brutale 675 variants spanning 2012 to 2020, and this product takes that span. With us the same cap appears for the Brutale 800 and the F3 675, and also for the Aprilia Tuono 660. Please match your Brutale 675 to the application list before ordering.
Road Approval
The FC101 has no German ABE and no documented parts certificate, so it is a circuit part. For road riding, the Brutale 675 keeps its factory cap, which normally opens with the ignition key.
