DescriptionThe whole story▼

A later Triumph Street Twin with a few tasteful upgrades, perhaps better suspension and grippier tyres, often ends up being ridden faster than its easy-going reputation suggests. Owners of such bikes may want a front brake with more immediate bite on country roads and the confidence to try a trackday. Accossato lists the AGPA112 front pad in EV1 street/track compound for the Street Twin from 2019 to 2024 with exactly that rider in mind.

Key Features

  • AGPA112 front pads for the Triumph Street Twin, 2019 to 2024
  • EV1 street/track compound, article AGPA112EV1
  • For upgraded bikes, brisk country roads and trackdays
  • Accossato cites excellent grip on road and amateur circuits
  • A single box for the one front caliper
  • Also made as OR, ST, EV2 and ZXC
  • No German ABE; supplied for competition use

Construction and Material Quality

Accossato describes EV1 as offering excellent grip for road riding and amateur track use. On the AGPA112 plate it provides a sharper front brake without requiring racing temperatures. Accossato's aims across its range include slow wear, fade resistance through limited heating, and strong stopping power.

An Upgraded Twin

Riders who improve suspension and tyres usually discover that the brakes become the next limiting factor. A street/track pad is a natural step, offering more bite while staying usable at normal temperatures. It is worth checking the rest of the system at the same time: fluid age, the condition of the brake hose and the disc surface. A fresh bleed can make as much difference to lever feel as a new compound.

Trying a Trackday

A Street Twin at a trackday is a friendly sight, and novice groups welcome all kinds of bikes. Fit the new pads a week before and bed them in on the road. On the day, brake in a straight line, release smoothly and let the brakes cool between sessions. The ride home can be done on the same pads, but check how much material is left afterwards.

Fitment and Compatibility

Accossato attaches the AGPA112 to the front of the Street 900 Twin for 2019 to 2024. The AGPA72 is listed for 2016 to 2021 as well, so if your bike dates from 2019 to 2021, check which shape it uses. One box covers the single front caliper; the rear pad is the AGPA76 for 2016 to 2025.

Road Approval

We have no German ABE or test certificate for these pads and sell them for circuit and competition use.

Scope of Delivery
