DescriptionThe whole story▼

Somewhere in the second or third season the riding changes. A familiar road is taken at a pace that would have felt unreasonable at first, corners are linked instead of taken one at a time, and the front brake is used later and with more of the hand. For a CFMOTO NK 800 of 2024 to 2026 that has reached that stage, Accossato offers the AGPA96 outline in the EV1 street/track material, article AGPA96EV1, a mixture the company describes as gripping strongly on the road while standing up to circuit use at amateur level.

Key Features

  • Front brake pads for the CFMOTO NK 800, model years 2024 to 2026
  • AGPA96EV1: the AGPA96 shape in the EV1 street/track material
  • Accossato places the mixture between road riding and amateur circuit work
  • Two pads to a box, the set for one caliper
  • The same shape is sold in OR, ST, EV2 and ZXC as well
  • Rear wheel of the NK 800: the AGPA29, same model years
  • Renew pads in pairs, and better still one axle at a time
  • No German ABE here; catalogued for competition

Construction and Material Quality

Accossato separates its compounds by the work they are meant to do, and EV1 is the point in the list where the catalogue stops thinking about traffic. The factory summary gives it firm grip for road riding together with enough reserve for amateur sessions on a circuit. Everything else about the article is shared with its relatives: the same AGPA96 outline, the same plate, the same box. What reaches the lever is decided by the friction layer, which is why two packets that look alike can behave quite differently.

When the Riding Gets Ahead of the Brake

Progress on the road shows up first at the front brake. A rider who has learned to set entry speed properly no longer brakes gently for a long time; they brake firmly for a short time and release the lever cleanly. Repeated through an afternoon on a good road, that puts far more heat into the front end than a month of commuting does, and it asks for a bite that has not softened by the time the good stretch ends.

It is worth saying what does not change. A road is not a circuit: there is oncoming traffic, gravel on the exit of shaded bends, and nothing but a hedge for run-off. An NK 800 gathers plenty of speed between corners, so the sensible use of a firmer mixture is a wider margin rather than a later entry. Fresh pads also want a settling-in period, which means a series of moderate stops from moderate speed before the first enthusiastic descent.

Fitment and Compatibility

The AGPA96 is listed for the front of the NK 800 through 2024, 2025 and 2026. For machines from 2024 there is a second article in the catalogue, the AGPA106, so that one season wants a check against the caliper rather than a guess. Accossato does not extend this shape to other CFMOTO models in the same entry, so a different machine needs its own lookup. At the back, the AGPA29 covers the same three years on a single caliper. Each box serves one caliper, and both sides of the front axle should be done together.

Road Approval

There is no German ABE for the AGPA96EV1 and no test report in our hands, which is why it is sold strictly for racing, track days and other closed-course riding.

Scope of Delivery

One box holding two AGPA96 pads in the EV1 material, enough for one caliper.
