The Tracer 700 of 2020 bridges the MT-07 Tracer and the Tracer 7, with the same CP2 twin. The Gilles Shiftholder for the Yamaha Tracer 700 supports the shift shaft outside the engine, which gives the gear change a firmer feel.

One model year, the same benefit
Because the Tracer 700 shares its engine with the rest of the CP2 family, the same Shiftholder fits. It stabilises the shaft so that the selector completes its movement on every change.
A well-proven fit
The Shiftholder has been developed for the whole CP2 family, from the MT-07 to the Ténéré, so its fit on the Tracer 700 is well proven. It comes with a pinion cover, uses the original bolts, and turns the gear change of this versatile sport tourer into a firmer, more precise one.
Road Approval
No paperwork applies here. Because the Shiftholder only stabilises the shift shaft of the Yamaha TRACER 700 and does not alter the controls or any other approved part of the bike, it needs neither an approval document nor an inspection.
Scope of Delivery
The kit contains the Shiftholder and the parts needed to mount it, plus the fitting instructions. Pinion cover included; the original bolts are reused.
