DescriptionThe whole story▼
The Street Triple 675 is a bike that often has more than one rider. It is light, compact and approachable at low speed, so partners share it, friends borrow it and riders new to triples learn on it. The Accossato LV020 is a folding brake lever for the Street Triple 675 of 2012 to 2015, made for the original radial master cylinder. Its black base contains a reach adjuster, and its coloured blade is joined to that base so that it can fold away if the bike falls.
Key Features
- Folding brake lever for the Triumph Street Triple 675, 2012 to 2015
- Designed for the original radial brake master cylinder
- Adjustable distance from the grip
- Blade linked to the base by a folding joint
- Eight colours: black, blue, gold, green, orange, red, silver, titanium
- RST blade with lightening cut-out, or NRST without
- Standard length, CNC-machined and anodised aluminium
Construction and Material Quality
Each LV020 is made from two aluminium parts, both CNC-machined and then anodised. The base is black and fits the pivot of the original radial master cylinder, where it carries the reach adjuster. The blade, attached to the base by a hinge, is anodised in black, blue, gold, green, orange, red, silver or titanium; titanium is a colour here, and the material stays aluminium. The length is standard, and the blade can be ordered with the RST lightening cut-out or without it.
One Bike, Two Hands
When two people share a Street Triple 675, the brake lever is usually set for whoever adjusted it last. Hand sizes differ, gloves differ, and a reach that suits long fingers can leave smaller hands stretching for the blade, with less control over how hard they squeeze. The LV020's adjuster makes the swap quick: agree on two settings, note them, and change between them before each ride. It is worth doing this with the bike standing still and each rider in their own gloves, fingers resting on the blade with a slight bend. A shared bike also has more chances of tipping over, because not every rider is equally used to its weight and steering lock in a tight space. If the lever meets the ground in such a moment, the hinged blade can fold, reducing the risk that the next rider finds a broken lever. None of this changes the brakes themselves. It only makes the lever fit the hand that happens to be on the bar today.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists the LV020 for the Street Triple 675 from 2012 to 2015 and specifies the original radial master cylinder. Before ordering, check that your bike carries a radial master cylinder and compare the lever with our photos. The entry names the Street Triple 675 itself; the R and RX versions are not part of this listing.
Road Approval
The LV020 is supplied for closed-circuit use, since no German ABE has been documented for it.
