It is a trade, not a rank: the P08 is not a worse filter, it is the balance point for ordinary road and track use, and Sprint Filter also list the water-repellent P037 at 37 microns and the T12 at 7 microns for extreme off-road work. The second half of the price is that a finer medium collects its load sooner, so the inspection rhythm has to be shorter than it would be with a P08. On this element that is a small thing, because inspection ends with compressed air rather than with an invoice.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch2\u003eCare and cleaning\u003c\/h2\u003e\u003cp\u003eClean side outwards with compressed air — that is the ordinary service for the PM186P14. Anything left after that comes out with lukewarm water and a mild detergent, rinsed until the water runs clear. Complete drying follows in open air, with no heat and no flame involved at any point, and the element goes back dry.
