DescriptionThe whole story▼
When precision electrical architecture separates a well-sorted SSP machine from a troublesome one, every cable run and connector matters. The Feel Racing Main Switch Loom FR.163.142 is engineered to the same exacting standard as the wider Feel Racing wiring system — purpose-built to integrate the main switch cleanly and reliably into a race-prepared front electrical layout on the Ducati Panigale V2 955.
Key Features
- Dedicated wiring loom for the main switch, designed as an integral component of the Feel Racing modular racing wiring system
- Defined connector logic and precise cable routing allow fast disconnection, inspection and replacement at the circuit
- Engineered for clean packaging within the WorldSSP front-end build — cable runs and connector positions are laid out to complement the Feel Racing front subframe and front wiring harness
- Service-friendly construction reduces downtime between sessions: trace a fault, swap a section, get back on track
- Matches the build quality and connector specification of the full Feel Racing electrical ecosystem
Construction and Build Quality
Feel Racing developed this loom specifically for the demands of the WorldSSP technical regulations and the rigours of circuit use. Each connector, terminal and cable section is selected to withstand the vibration, heat and rapid handling that a race-prepared Ducati Panigale V2 955 demands. The result is a loom that sits neatly in the front fairing structure without the bundling or improvised routing that compromises both reliability and inspection speed in a pit-lane environment.
The modular architecture of the Feel Racing wiring system means this loom interfaces correctly — and only correctly — with the designated front wiring harness (FR.163.111) and front subframe (FR.495.112.C). There is no ambiguity in the connection: the loom was designed as part of a coherent system, not adapted from a production harness.
Track and SSP Application
In a SuperSport or trackday build, electrical simplicity and logical architecture are as important as any mechanical specification. This loom gives the crew chief clear, defined switching points for the main switch circuit, making pre-session checks and post-crash inspections straightforward. Paired with the correct Feel Racing front wiring and subframe, it contributes to an electrical front end that is as organised and professional as the chassis around it.
Important Note
This wiring loom is designed for use within the Feel Racing SSP racing wiring system. It is not intended as a plug-and-play replacement for the OEM production wiring harness and should only be installed as part of a complete Feel Racing electrical build.
