Often Bought to Put Legality Back
These bikes are a decade old and most have changed hands more than once. A large share arrive at their current owner with the plate arm already gone, the light dangling on a cable tie or missing entirely, and the reflector nowhere to be found.
For that owner this part is not a styling upgrade, it is the route back to something that passes an inspection while still looking like a Panigale. That is a different purchase from the one the same number serves on a new bike, and it comes with a different checklist.
The Checklist When Something Was Removed
Work out what is actually missing before ordering. The carrier is supplied on its own: if the previous owner discarded the plate light, the reflector or the wiring, those have to come from somewhere, and Fullsix does not supply them.
Then confirm the plate angle, the illumination of the plate surface and the reflector's visibility from behind. All three are prescribed and all three are checked.
Fitment and Compatibility
Ducati 899 Panigale, model years 2013 to 2015, on the original subframe points, with the factory plate light where it is still present.
Road Approval
Fullsix issues no ABE and no EC type-approval number. In Germany a plate carrier without a Teilegutachten or ABE is not registrable on its own. On a bike that has already been modified by somebody else, take the whole rear end to your inspection organisation rather than only this part.
Fitting
Light first, tested in the dark. Reflector next, checked from directly behind at plate height. Then push the tail through its travel by hand and watch the gap to the tyre.
