AL2501H puts the original 2024 instrument back, behind the race cowl, on a machined aluminium holder.

Key Features

Carries the standard 2024 Honda instrument once the OEM front structure is removed

Machined aluminium rather than composite

Positions the dash to be read from a tuck, not from an upright seating position

Mounts on Carbonin's 2024 tube, ALU2501H, which is a separate part

One of four holders in the range, each for a different instrument

Keeping the Standard Dash

Most people converting a road-registered CBR600RR keep the original instrument, at least at first, and there is a good reason to: it already talks to the bike. The PC69 carries a six-axis IMU and the electronics package inherited from the CBR1000RR — three preset ride modes plus two user modes, nine-level traction control with slip rate control, engine braking management and wheelie control. All of that is configured through the standard dash. Replacing the instrument with an aftermarket logger means giving that interface up or duplicating it, which is a decision worth taking deliberately rather than by default.

What Else Comes Off With the Nose

Removing the standard front structure takes the headlights, the indicators, their brackets and a fistful of connectors with it. Two pieces of advice from people who have done it: do not cut anything, and label everything. The loom is worth real money intact and nothing at all once it has been shortened, and a bike being returned to road specification in two years is a completely different job depending on whether the connectors were taped back into the harness or snipped off. Bag the lighting parts with the standard bodywork rather than separately — they belong to the same future.

Fitment

For the Honda CBR 600 RR PC69, 2024 to 2026, with the standard 2024 instrument.

Road Approval

Supplied as a competition part without approval documentation.

Specifications

Brand: Carbonin

Part number: AL2501H

Component: Dashboard holder

For instrument: Standard Honda 2024 dashboard

Material: Aluminium

Also required: Carbonin 2024 tube (ALU2501H) — not supplied

Fitment: Honda CBR 600 RR PC69 (2024-2026)

Road approval: None supplied — closed-course competition use
