DescriptionThe whole story▼
Rhythm sections separate good motocross riders from very good ones. A series of jumps set close together, doubles, triples and rollers, has to be ridden as one flowing sequence, and on a Husqvarna FC 250 that means timing throttle and body movement to the shape of the ground. The feet stay on the pegs throughout, pumping the bike through each face. Accossato makes enlarged footpegs in Ergal for the FC 250 of 2016 to 2022, in orange or black.

- Orange or black
- Pair of footpegs, one for each side
- Separate Accossato sets exist for the FC 250 of 2014 to 2015 and of 2023 to 2026
- No German ABE on file; for racing
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato describes these as enlarged footpegs made of Ergal, a high-strength aluminium alloy, for motocross, enduro and off-road motorcycles. The larger platform gives the boot more support, particularly when the rider is pushing hard through the pegs, and that is all the maker says. You receive two pegs, left and right, in the colour you choose. For the FC 250 of 2016 to 2022, Accossato offers orange and black.
Through a Rhythm Section
In a rhythm section the rider uses the legs to pump the bike: pushing down into the face of a jump, absorbing the landing, then pushing again into the next face. Done well, it generates speed without extra throttle; done badly, it throws the bike off line. The feet stay on the pegs all the way, and the legs do the work, flexing and extending in time with the terrain.
The FC 250 of these years is light and responsive, which suits this style of riding, but it also means the rider's movements have an immediate effect. A secure footing is essential, and a broader peg gives the sole more surface to push against, so the rider can concentrate on timing rather than on where the feet are. Practising rhythm sections at the weekend, starting with small rollers and gradually linking jumps, is one of the most effective ways to find speed on a motocross track.
Fitment and Compatibility
This is the middle one of three footpeg sets that Accossato lists for the FC 250. The FR798 covers the 2016 to 2022 model years, while the FR795 is for 2014 and 2015 and the FR809 for 2023 to 2026. If you are not sure which year your bike is, the frame number or the original purchase papers will tell; compare the photos and colours of the sets, or send us the details. Accossato also lists the FR798 for the GasGas MC 250F and the Husqvarna FE 250.
Road Approval
We have no ABE or other approval documentation for these pegs; they are sold for competition use.
