An original Öhlins service part, listed under its own number in the Öhlins spare parts catalogue. The number on the part matches the number in the drawing, which makes identification unambiguous. Individual parts let a workshop replace only what is worn.

Original Öhlins Part

A damper that can be rebuilt is a damper that stays on the bike; that is the whole argument for original service parts. Rebuilding to specification only works if the parts are to specification — that starts here. Öhlins numbers do not follow a logic you can guess — always read them from the documentation. The exploded drawing for your unit names the number; if you do not have it, we do.

Identifying the Right Part

Order under 60060-05. Where several sizes share a description, only the number separates them. This position has no published dimension, so the part number is the only reliable identifier. Service parts are what make an Öhlins unit worth rebuilding rather than replacing. Öhlins supports its units with individual parts rather than only with complete assemblies.

Fitting and Setup Service

A damper rebuild is workshop work: it needs the unit dismantled, the shim stack rebuilt in the correct order and the gas charge reset. We are an authorised Öhlins service centre and do exactly that in house — send us the unit or ask us to fit the part with your order.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 60060-05

Category: Service Parts

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/60060-05_bd54c62b-9f63-4e53-aee1-47789d30d81d.png?v=1788881051
