The number on the part matches the number in the drawing, which makes identification unambiguous.

Key Features

Original Öhlins service part

Öhlins part number 21717-02

Where It Sits

Öhlins publishes no separate dimension for this position, so the part number carries the identity. Ordering by number from the exploded view is the reliable way to get the right piece. Where a part supersedes an older number, Öhlins states it in the catalogue. This part comes from the same production line as the components it is fitted to.

Genuine Service Part

Every part in this catalogue is one Öhlins fits itself during assembly and service. Öhlins numbers every position so a workshop can order precisely what it needs, not a whole assembly. We can supply the whole position from the drawing rather than the single piece if that is easier. Order by part number — descriptions repeat across sizes, numbers do not.

Identifying the Right Part

Part number 21717-02 is unambiguous; the description alone is not, because Öhlins uses similar wording across sizes. Öhlins does not publish a dimension here — go by the number and the exploded view. Öhlins keeps tooling for older units, which is why parts remain available. Where a part supersedes an older number, Öhlins states it in the catalogue.

Fitting and Setup Service

If you would rather not open the damper yourself, we can do it — we are an authorised Öhlins service centre and rebuild these units as a matter of routine.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 21717-02

Category: Service Parts

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/21717-02_82e1dab1-d1e5-4263-b003-c774a9de6d38.png?v=1788880131
