The mount is the part that makes a universal tank work on a Z400. The OBT008 sets the reservoir position on the Z400 at 60.6 mm and 90.3 mm. Black anodised, and black is the whole range for the OBT008. The 399 cc Z400 takes it with the standard fittings.

Application
LighTech lists the OBT008 for the Kawasaki Z400. LighTech lists it as adaptable rather than model-specific, so check the position on the Z400 first.
Where the Reservoir Ends Up
Two brackets exist for a reason: height and projection differ front to rear. LighTech dimensions the OBT008 to 60.6 mm by 90.3 mm so the hose run stays short on the Z400. One bracket per reservoir — the Z400 needs the tank ordered alongside.
In the Workshop
The OBT008 goes on with the Z400 on its stand. Check steering lock on the Z400 once the tank is in place. No permanent alteration to the Z400 is involved.
Care and Checks
Vibration finds every loose fastener on the Z400 eventually. Nothing else about the OBT008 wears in normal use.
What You Get
The OBT008 is supplied as a single bracket with its fasteners. LighTech keeps it as a stock item.
Sold Separately
The OBT008 is a bracket and nothing else. It carries the OBT001, OBT006 and OBT007 range, which are ordered separately. Ask us and we will pair it with the right reservoir for your Z400.
Approval Status
On a Z400 this component carries brake or clutch fluid under pressure. Nothing in the OBT008 box constitutes a type approval. Ask your inspection body about the Z400 before fitting, and do not skip the bleed.
