The LighTech OBT008 is that bracket — 60.6 mm tall with 90.3 mm of projection, 10 g. Black anodised, and black is the whole range for the OBT008. LighTech lists it for the CBR650F; mounting is straightforward and reversible.

Key Features

The front bracket of the pair

Made in Italy

10 g on the CBR650F

Fitting the OBT008 to the CBR650F needs hand tools only

A stock LighTech item rather than a special order

Decides where the reservoir ends up on the CBR650F

Fitting

Fitting the OBT008 to a CBR650F is a hand-tool job. Mount it so the reservoir sits above the master cylinder on the CBR650F, never below. Everything removed from the CBR650F can go straight back on.

What It Fits

This listing covers the Honda CBR650F, 2014 to 2020. LighTech lists it as adaptable rather than model-specific, so check the position on the CBR650F first.

Position Is the Point

The bracket is the part that has to suit the CBR650F, not the tank. LighTech dimensions the OBT008 to 60.6 mm by 90.3 mm so the hose run stays short on the CBR650F. It is the smallest part of the installation.

Scope of Delivery

LighTech ships the OBT008 on its own. The part number is all you need to quote for a repeat order on the CBR650F.

Before You Order

The OBT008 is a bracket and nothing else. The tank — OBT001, OBT006 or OBT007 — is a separate article. If you are starting from nothing on the CBR650F, you need both lines on the order.

Maintenance

Check the bracket fasteners on the CBR650F at the same interval as the bar clamps. Nothing else about the OBT008 wears in normal use.

Road Use and Approval

Replacing a reservoir touches the brake system of the CBR650F, not just its appearance. The OBT008 is sold without approval documentation of any kind. Road use on the CBR650F means two steps: clarify it beforehand, test it afterwards.

Technical Data

Brand: LighTech

Part number: OBT008

Type: Reservoir bracket, front

Height: 60.6 mm

Projection: 90.3 mm

Material: Anodised aluminium

Finish: Black only

Fits reservoirs: OBT001, OBT006, OBT007

Weight: 10 g

Fitment: Honda CBR650F (2014 to 2020)

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/v_OBT008NER_502d85ea-5ef4-4269-b2a6-c47a2054137c.png?v=1791204935
https://inter-pace.com/en-bf/products/lightech-reservoir-bracket-front-honda-cbr650f-2014-2020-obt008
