Check the Finish Against What You Already Have
These come in one finish where most parts in the catalogue offer four. If the bike already wears matt or satin carbon elsewhere, hold both up together before committing, because a clear-coated pair beside matt flanks is a mismatch that photographs badly and looks worse in daylight.
It is the sort of thing that only becomes obvious after fitting, and by then the panels have been drilled onto the tabs and are no longer pristine.
Symmetry Is Judged From Behind
Look at the trailing edge from behind and slightly off to one side once both are on. Two extensions that do not finish at the same height show from exactly that angle, and it is where anyone photographing the bike ends up standing.

Fitting
Both panels loosely in place before either is tightened, then work the heights against each other.
The seat has to come off first, and the panels locate on tabs before any screw is involved. Get both sitting on their tabs, then bring the screws up gently and alternately rather than finishing one side and starting the other.
