DescriptionThe whole story▼
The headlight surround gives the Diavel V4 its face. The motorcycle carries no fairing to speak of, so this small panel is one of very few body parts visible from directly in front — and the one that frames the full-LED unit with its distinctive daytime running signature.
Key Features
- Replaces the surround around the Diavel V4 LED headlight assembly
- Four configurations in 200 Plain: clear coat, matt, satin and raw
- Moulded from the original part, so the aperture and the panel gaps stay as Ducati set them
- Fits on the standard mounting points with the original fasteners
- One of the highest-visibility parts in the range for its price
Framing a Signature Nobody Else Has
Ducati gave the Diavel V4 a daytime running light that is instantly readable in a mirror — a horizontal bar that no other motorcycle in traffic produces. This panel is what holds that bar, and the width of carbon around it determines how much of the DRL reads as a deliberate graphic and how much reads as a lamp in a hole.
Which is why the tooling on this particular part matters more than the laminate. An aperture a millimetre wide of the original changes the proportion of the lit element to the dark surround, and the eye registers that as the light being the wrong size rather than the panel being imprecise. Fullsix moulds from the factory part for exactly that reason.
Fitment and Compatibility
Ducati Diavel V4, 2023 to 2026, on the original mounting points. It does not fit the XDiavel or the Diavel 1260 — the three motorcycles carry entirely different lighting assemblies despite the shared name.
Road Approval
Fullsix publishes neither an ABE nor an EC type-approval for this part. A panel that surrounds the headlight can be assessed differently from a plain cover in a technical inspection; confirm the requirement for your registration before road use.
Take the Screen Off First
The fitting sequence is not optional on this one. The small flyscreen above the headlight has to come away before the surround clears its upper mounts, and working around it is how the top edge of a new carbon panel picks up its first mark.
Afterwards, put the motorcycle in front of a wall and confirm the beam has not moved. The assembly is located by what surrounds it, and a headlight that has shifted two degrees is both a genuine nuisance to oncoming traffic and an easy thing to be stopped for.
