DescriptionThe whole story▼
The CNC Racing TS423TB fuel cap is a Troy Bayliss Limited Edition piece of racing history — CNC-machined from aircraft-grade aluminium, hard anodised for lasting protection, and engineered with an integrated Fast Open quick-release system that meets the demands of serious track use on the Ducati Panigale V4 and V4S (2025–2026).
Key Features
- Troy Bayliss Limited Edition — a tribute to the three-time Superbike World Champion, with exclusive colour-coded detailing in Black/Red (TS423BRTB) or Red/Black (TS423RBTB)
- Integrated Fast Open quick-release mechanism allows rapid, secure fuel cap access during race-day pit stops or spirited road rides
- CNC-machined aluminium construction delivers an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio over a standard OEM cap
- Hard anodised finish resists corrosion, fuel staining and abrasion while maintaining a premium appearance over time
- Complete mounting hardware included for a straightforward, no-fuss installation with no modifications required
Quality & Construction
Every TS423TB is machined to tight tolerances on multi-axis CNC equipment at the CNC Racing facility in Italy, then hard anodised in the chosen two-colour scheme. The anodising process penetrates the aluminium substrate rather than simply coating it, which means the surface remains mechanically integral even under repeated use, fuel exposure and the vibration loads inherent to a high-revving V4 engine. The Fast Open mechanism uses a proven quick-release design familiar from World Superbike machinery, requiring only a single quarter-turn to open — yet it seals with the same security as a factory cap under normal running conditions.
Track Day & Road Use
On the Panigale V4/S the standard fuel cap, while entirely functional, is not optimised for speed when every second of a pit stop counts. The TS423TB eliminates the multi-turn operation entirely. For road riders the benefit is equally clear: refuelling at a busy forecourt is faster and the cap's positive locking action means there is no question of it being left improperly closed. The Troy Bayliss Limited Edition branding adds a layer of provenance that distinguishes this cap from generic aftermarket alternatives — it is a numbered-edition collectible as much as it is a functional component.
Fitment & Compatibility
Designed and verified to fit the following models with no modification:
- Ducati Panigale V4 (2025–2026)
- Ducati Panigale V4S (2025–2026)
Please note: compatibility with the Panigale V4R (2025–2026) should be confirmed with CNC Racing or Inter-Pace before ordering, as tank designs may differ.
