DescriptionThe whole story▼
The RC054 is the spare internal hose Accossato supplies for its quick throttle control, the tube that runs inside the body and carries the cable or cables through it. It is a small, single-purpose part with no options or variants listed, sold to replace a worn or damaged original rather than as part of a complete kit. It is made in Italy.
Key Features
- Spare internal hose for Accossato's quick throttle control
- Single-purpose replacement part
- No variants or options listed
- Sold as a standalone spare part
- Made in Italy
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato supplies the RC054 as a tube rather than a machined or moulded component, built to run inside the quick throttle control body and guide the cable or cables through it. Being a spare part rather than a feature of the kit itself, there is little to its specification beyond its purpose: it is made in Italy, like the rest of Accossato's throttle control range, and sized to the same body used across the MY-series.
An Overlooked Part Worth Replacing
Internal hoses inside a quick throttle control are not usually the first thing riders think to inspect, but a worn or split tube can let a cable rub against the body rather than running smoothly inside it, something more likely on a throttle control that has seen frequent cam changes or years of use. The RC054 covers that wear point on its own, without requiring the rest of the throttle control to be replaced alongside it.
Fitment and Compatibility
The RC054 is a spare part for Accossato's quick throttle control body rather than one tied to a specific motorcycle. It fits the same throttle control used across the MY-series, and ordering it means replacing the internal hose in an existing unit rather than buying a complete new throttle control. Our garage assigns it only to sport and naked bikes with a cable-operated twistgrip – bikes whose grip works purely electronically through a sensor are not offered it, and every assigned model appears in the Fitment tab.
Road Approval
There is no ABE or parts certificate documented by Accossato for the RC054; registration rules depend on the country, so check before road use.
