DescriptionThe whole story▼

For the newer Yamaha YZ125, listed by Accossato from 2021 to 2026, the front pad is AGPA288, and it is available in the Sintered compound, SKU AGPA288ST. This is the version for riders who ride their two-stroke on a mix of tracks and trails, in dry and wet weather, and who want a versatile, predictable front brake. It suits club riders, weekend practice and trail days where conditions change from one hour to the next.

Key Features

  • Sintered (ST) front pad, SKU AGPA288ST
  • Yamaha YZ125, 2021 to 2026
  • Accossato: constant high grip across temperatures
  • Accossato: good grip in wet conditions
  • Versatile for track and trail
  • Two pads per box for the front caliper
  • Discs DK111, DK268, DK269 and rear pad AGPP106 listed

Construction and Material Quality

Accossato says the Sintered compound gives high grip that stays constant from cold to hot and bites well in the wet. On a recent YZ125 ridden in varied conditions, that versatility helps. Accossato also notes low wear and fade resistance; we give no material details.

Versatility for Mixed Days

A weekend on a YZ125 might include a morning practice session on a prepared track and an afternoon on forest trails, with a rain shower in between. The front pad needs to work in all of that. A Sintered pad keeps the lever consistent whether the disc is wet, dry, cold or hot. It is a practical choice for club riders who do not race every weekend. For race days in deep mud or sand, Accossato offers this pad in the Off-road sintered compound as well.

Fitment and Compatibility

This AGPA288 pad belongs to the latest generation of the Yamaha YZ125 in Accossato's table, covering 2021 through 2026. Owners of an older YZ125 will find AGPA110 listed for 2008 to 2021. Because the changeover year 2021 sits in both rows, hold your worn pads next to the product photo and compare the outline before you order. A single box equips the lone front caliper. Behind it, the YZ125 takes Accossato's AGPP106, which spans 2003 to 2026, and the catalogue names DK111, DK268 and DK269 as matching discs. Blow out the caliper with compressed air or brush it clean before new pads go in.

Road Approval

No ABE or test certificate is available to us for this pad. It is sold for racing and competition use.
