DescriptionThe whole story▼
Stone chips thrown up from the bike ahead are part of racing a motocrosser like the 350SX-F, and the rear brake reservoir sits low enough to take its share over a season. Accossato's PBM01 closes that reservoir across this bike's full 2011-to-2020 production, replacing the standard-fit cover once it's marked or cracked.
Key Features
- Rear brake reservoir cover for the KTM 350SX-F, 2011 to 2020
- Accossato code PBM01, closes the rear brake fluid reservoir
- Available in orange, blue, black or silver
- Same part also listed for the Husqvarna FC 450, TC 250 and TE 300, among others
- Accossato also offers a front brake and clutch reservoir cover, crankcase plugs and more for this bike
- No German ABE on file; built for off-road and competition riding
Construction and Material Quality
The PBM01 closes directly over the 350SX-F's rear brake reservoir in place of the factory part; the same code is also listed for the Husqvarna FC 450, TC 250 and TE 300, among others, as shown below. All four colours offered seal the reservoir the same way, so the choice is purely cosmetic. A chip that's worked into a proper crack is the point at which this cover stops doing its job properly and needs swapping.
A Cover Built for the Track
A cover with a few small marks from track debris is still sealing the reservoir as intended, but one with a crack running through it needs replacing before the next moto rather than after. Keeping a spare PBM01 in the pit box means a damaged cover doesn't end a race weekend early, since this is one of the quicker swaps available on the bike. Riders who race regularly tend to build this check into the same routine as tyre pressure and chain tension.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato's own list spans the 350SX-F's full 2011-to-2020 production under the PBM01. This rear cover is shared across much of Husqvarna's off-road range, naming the FC 450, the TC 250 and the TE 300 among the models it also fits, so a garage with one of those bikes alongside a 350SX-F needs only a single part. Checking the exact build year against that list before ordering remains the sensible step.
Road Approval
No German ABE is on file for the PBM01, so Accossato lists it for off-road and competition use rather than for use on public roads.
Scope of Delivery
This listing covers one rear brake reservoir cover, in the colour you choose from the options above.
