DescriptionThe whole story▼
A rear wheel losing grip on a cold, damp morning doesn't need a racetrack to do it; a painted lane marking or a patch of diesel near a roundabout is enough to put a GSR750 down at ordinary commuting speed, well before the tyres have properly warmed through. The swingarm and rear axle area take that kind of knock just as readily as any trackday slide would. For the GSR750 built between 2012 and 2016, Accossato's PP014 rear axle sliders cover that everyday risk.
Key Features
- Rear axle sliders for the Suzuki GSR750, 2012 to 2016
- Accossato part PP014, one protector for each side of the swingarm area
- Aluminium combined with plastic, finished in black
- Spacers, screws and further mounting parts in the kit, as stated by Accossato
- Meant to touch down first if the rear end slides on a cold or wet road
- Designed to complement the PF014 front sliders and TP024 crash pads
- No other Accossato model currently shares this particular rear axle part
- No German ABE on file; listed for racing and competition use
Construction and Material Quality
Black is the only finish on the PP014, a pair of protectors moulded from aluminium and plastic, one unit bolted to each side of the swingarm and rear axle on this application. Spacers, screws and anything further the job calls for travel together in the maker's own kit. The GSR750's own swingarm casting isn't described anywhere in the material we've seen, so no bolt clearances whatsoever are assumed.
Cold Tyres Don't Care About Riding Style
It's tempting to assume rear sliders matter only to riders chasing lap times, but a tyre that hasn't warmed through yet behaves unpredictably at any speed, and a slick drain cover or an icy patch in shade can catch the rear wheel out on an ordinary morning commute just as easily as on a circuit. The swingarm area doesn't distinguish between the two kinds of slide, and a slider fitted there absorbs either one the same way, cheaply and without fuss, whichever kind of slide actually comes first.
Fitment and Compatibility
This PP014 fitting is specific to the GSR750 across 2012 to 2016 only; confirm your exact year carefully before placing an order. The front PF014 sliders and the TP024 crash pads are available for the same bike, covering the points this particular slider pair simply doesn't reach.
Road Approval
There is no German ABE or comparable approval paperwork for the PP014, so Inter-Pace offers this pair for racing and competition use on the GSR750, not for ordinary road use.
Scope of Delivery
